Jammu, Mar 27 (UNI) Four militants, including two Pakistani nationals who had recently infiltrated into Rajouri district, were gunned down during two separate encounters in the south of Pir Panjal ranges in Jammu and Kashmir.''Two militants were killed after a contact with some armed militants was established at around 0700 hrs at Kaba Kote in Kalakote area under Dharamsal police station in Rajouri district,'' Defence spokesman Lt Col Biplab Nath told UNI.They were a identified as Abu Sorab and Abu Osama, both Pakistani nationals who had recently infiltrated from across the Line of Control (LoC). Two AK rifles and large quantity of ammunition were recovered from the site of encounter.The operation was conducted by the counter-insurgency 63 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of the Ultimate-Force formation, Lt Col Nath said.In another encounter, troops of 26 RR of the Delta-Force formation gunned down two militants at Merul near the mountainous Kishtwar town, about 300 km from here, Lt Col Nath said.One of the slain militant was Rehmatullah Bhatt alias Saifullah, the self-styled 'battalion commander' of HM outfit operating in the area.Both the operations were underway.
