Peshawar, May 18 (KMW): The upcoming visit to Pakistan by Indian External Affairs Minister S M Krishna will help promote peace in the region, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader Fazlur Rehman said today.Rehman, who heads the Kashmir committee of the national Assembly or lower house of parliament, expressed his firm belief in peace talks between Pakistan and India."We will welcome S M Krishna to Pakistan as meaningful dialogue is in the interests of both neighbouring countries," he told reporters. The proposed talks will take forward the peace process though it would be more appropriate to involve the Kashmiri leadership from both countries in the parleys so that the Kashmir issue can be resolved in accordance with their wishes, he claimed.
