New Delhi, May 27 (KMW): The Armed Forces Tribunal has ruled that a Lt General of the Indian Army had fudged records of the 1999 Kargil war against a Brigadier and played down his achievements, denying him a medal and promotion. Lieutenant General Kishan Pal, had in April 1999, dismissed reports by his junior officer, Brig Devinder Singh, about Kargil intrusion and conveyed wrong information to the then Army Chief. He had also underplayed Brig Singh's achievements during the war.
