Srinagar, June 3 (KMW): Militants today opened fire on CRPF personnel, injuring a jawan in Sopore town of north Kashmir. Militants opened fire on the road opening party at Potkhah-Sopore, 55 kms from here, CRPF spokesman Prabhakar Tripathy said. The CRPF personnel retaliated but the militants managed to escape. He said the jawan, H N Bargohain, of 53 battalion was shifted to hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.No militant outfit has owned responsibility for the attack.
