Srinagar, June 11,2010(KMW): People’s Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, who also heads the Bhutto Memorial Trust, has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of Dr. Syed Nazir Gilani‘s pious mother. It is worth to mention here that Dr. Syed Nazir Gilani is a jurist of International repute and Secretary Genera of JKCHR–International (NGO) in Special Consultative Status in United Nations, Economic and Social Council. Dr. Gilani has been pleading Kashmir Case and Cause at Diplomatic level within the jurisprudence of International law and United Nations Charter.
An emergency meeting of PPP and Bhutto Memorial Trust was presided over by the Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, at PPP Headquarters, Rajbag, Srinagar-Kashmir. The meeting of the executive Body of PPP and BMT was held today afternoon to condole the death of Dr. Syed Nazir Gilani’s mother.
Recalling her sweet memories and humanitarian contribution among family and friends of Dr. Gilani’s mother who was a very pious and caring elderly lady of the whole Syed dynasty. Her death has created a void impossible to be filled. Her pioneering role in the unifying family and spreading the message of “Haqooqul Ebaad” among the neighbors and relatives in particular.
“For PPP Chief, her demise is a personal loss,” expressing deep sympathies with the bereaved. He said the Syed family of Kashmir has lost a shadow whose affectionate disposition towards family and friends would be remembered for a long time.
May God give her eternal rest and may her soul rest in peace!
