Srinagar, Aug 4(KMW): The 22-year old Muhammad Iqbal Khan who was injured when paramilitary forces opened fire on a group of protesters in Srinagar's Chanapora area on July 30, has succumbed to his injuries.
Five persons were injured in the uptown Chanapora locality on July 30, out of whom Iqbal was in a critical condItion.
Veterean pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani was also escorting the funeral of the martyred youth, as thousands marched through streets of srinagar to bid a tearful adieu to martyr.
