Duba, Aug 11 (KMW): The Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) secretary-general Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has called on India to end its human rights violations in Kashmir and seek a peaceful and negotiated settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
He strongly condemned the violence perpetrated by the Indian security forces against innocent Kashmiris, leading to the loss of numerous lives, according to a statement from the Jeddah-based grouping of Muslim countries.
"The secretary-general has voiced his deep concern at the latest developments in Kashmir," said the statement.
Ihsanoglu "reiterated the solidarity of the OIC with the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed their legitimate right to self-determination."
